Money is the conversation everyone puts off.
It isn’t the numbers that hurt. It’s finding them alone at midnight, guessing, and bringing them up at the worst moment. Lightnest makes it a thing you look at together, on a Sunday, with a coffee.
-
No more “money person”
One of you shouldn’t have to keep the spreadsheet and deliver the bad news. Lightnest keeps the numbers up to date for both of you.
-
Ask the numbers, not each other
“Can we afford it?” stops being a debate. Lightnest answers with your real balances, spending and plans, and doesn’t take sides.
-
Yours, mine and ours
Share the joint account and the goals. Keep your own card private if you like. Everyone decides what the household sees.
Not a budget app. A money room for your household.
Made for two (or five). One shared space where everyone sees the same numbers, talks them through, and keeps what you agree.
-
Talk on any transaction
“What was this $86?” goes right on the transaction, not into an argument at dinner.

@Lightnest when you want it
It stays quiet while you talk. Mention it and it answers you all with the same numbers.

Works in the chats you already have
Add Lightnest to the family group chat.
Your family already talks in WhatsApp, not in a finance app. Add Lightnest to the group and ask it anything. You’ll get a gentle summary every Sunday, and a heads-up before a bill surprises anyone. Whatever’s agreed in the chat goes in Our notes.

Big nest, small nest. Everyone gets a seat.

Couples
Moving in, getting married, or ten years in and still splitting the rent in a spreadsheet.
-
Parents
Childcare, school, the car. See the month ahead before it surprises you.
-
Helping family
Keep an eye on a parent’s bills without taking over their bank login.

A view of their own allowance and savings goal. The first money talk that isn’t a lecture.
Built for trust, because that’s the point.
-

Lightnest can see balances and transactions. It can never move, send or spend a cent.

Nobody sells your data
Not to advertisers, not to lenders. Your household’s money is nobody else’s business.
Have the money talk you’ve been putting off.
Join the early-access list. We’re letting households in a few at a time.
Free while in early access. No card. We’ll only email you about Lightnest.
Questions, asked kindly.
Do we need a joint account?
No. Most households have a mix. Connect whatever you have, and choose which accounts the others can see.
Will my partner see everything I spend?
Only what you share. You can share a whole account, just your totals, or keep it to yourself.
Do we all need to install an app?
No. Add Lightnest to your WhatsApp, iMessage, Telegram, Messenger or Signal group and ask it there. The app is there when you want the full picture.
Does the AI take sides?
No. It answers whoever asks with the same numbers, says when it’s unsure, and only saves notes when you ask it to.
What does it cost?
Free during early access. After that we’re aiming for one simple price for the whole household, not per person.
